My sweetheart surprised me with a wonderful Valentine's Day surprise! He's booked us a suite at the Hotel MacDonald for tomorrow night...how exciting! I'm really looking forward to my first stay there...it's such a beautiful hotel. I've been there for tea and for a wedding reception, but I've never had any reason to stay until now. He got us an early check-in and late check-out so we're going to really enjoy our stay as long as we can! The three of us (Annika is coming too, of course) are taking along our swimsuits so we can paddle around in the kiddie pool for a while - it will be Annika's first swim outside of the bathtub! We may have a nice walk downtown and may even take advantage of some Family Day festivities on Monday. It's going to be a great day...hope you are all enjoying your weekend as well!
