Back in the Swing of Things

Well, we're working on re-establishing our day-to-day routine, and so far so good! The first night back Annika was up several times and we were both pooped, so we didn't sleep well. But last night was really good and she slept from 8-4, then back to sleep until 8. Not bad! She's down for her second nap now, and hopefully we'll be back on track sleep-wise.

I've got a bunch of errands to do today and laundry to do, and then I think I can tackle downloading all of the pictures from our trip. One thing weighing on my mind's to-do list is get started on a scrapbook for Annika. Ideally, I'd like to get going on the first half of her life now before the years pass by and I'm completely overwhelmed with pictures! First thing I should do is send the thousand or so pics to Costco for printing. That will be a good start! Anybody out there want to scrapbook with me? Maybe we can set up a scrap day! :)

On the Sunday before we left, Sandy held a card workshop for me and a group of ladies and boy, did we enjoy ourselves! I enjoyed myself waaaaay too much, particularly when it came to ordering new products/stuff for my Stampin' Up collection. Yikes! I'll try to take a picture of my haul when it arrives so you can see just how much fun I'm going to have playing with my new "toys"! If anyone is interested in hosting a Stampin' Up card party, Sandy is a great demonstrator with fantastic projects! I will take pics to show you the beautiful projects we made. I also received a lovely note kit (handmade and personalized by Sandy) that I plan to use soon!

Hope you're all having a great start to the week. We're going to lay low and fight this cold Annika has, so we're skipping Salsa Babies this week in an effort to get healthy again. Hopefully next week we'll don our dancing shoes again.
