Catching Up

The garage sale...was more successful than I thought it would be, since it was fairly dreary and cold out. I have to send a HUGE shout out to my in-laws who were over every day helping look after Annika, working out in the garage, feeding us, and just being super helpful. Thanks to my dad who did a lot of work setting up the garage with me and hauling things around. And a big thanks to Sandy & Jamie, my Grandma, Aunty Audrey and Heather & Vicki who all came and contributed their time and worked the garage sale over the weekend! Sunday sort of a waste...our big days were Friday and Saturday and we managed to make around $450 that is going towards our relay this weekend. All in all, I'm happy. We still have a TON of stuff left, but we're probably going to drop most of it off at a Goodwill.

Other than that, there's not too much to share...the sale kept us fairly busy. We had a yummy BBQ Sunday evening and on Monday we took it easy. Went and drove by a house in one of our favourite neighbourhoods and had lunch out.

My little munchkin is causing a hullabaloo each naptime. She's taken to standing up after I put her down for a nap and she cries and carries on (I don't think she can get back down??) Anyway, she does this for every nap so I just let her cry for a few minutes before going back in and rocking her and setting her down again. She's sleeping now, thank goodness. This is what I find when I go in to see what's up when she's crying...

She's so active and mobile...it's tiring!! :) She stands herself up and tries to creep around. She also loves grabbing on to your fingers and walk around. She's pulling herself up on all sorts of things and is quite proud when she accomplishes the big climb (picture to come)!

My baby's growing up...sigh. I'm starting to get a wee bit emotional about my mat leave coming to a close so soon. Thankfully I'm just going back part-time...but still it's going to be hard.
