Annika has a best friend...her name is Jayla and these precious babes are only 11 days apart. Us mommies have set up a standing play date for every 2 weeks so that our girls can really enjoy each other and grow up friends (and the mommies can enjoy each other as well!)
For this week's play date we decided to take the girls to the park for some fun in the sun.

So poor Jayla was subjected to Annika's kisses, one after another. Annika definitely needs to work on breaking the ice first before climbing all over other babies and slobbering all over them. Jayla was such a good sport though and took it all in stride.
They had some fun in the swings and then got to test out sand (it was both of their first times!) I think they really enjoyed experiencing the park together! They definitely enjoyed the 4 or 5 mouthfuls of sand they tested...eww!

So they had a lovely time together. More wonderful times to come...these beauties will also be sharing their first birthday parties! Fun times ahead!
