Conehead Baby Beanie

Anybody remember the movie about the Coneheads? Well, my beanie would be a perfect gift for a Conehead baby shower. Or maybe for a baby Beaker from the Muppets. Here's a pic of A wearing the way-too-long baby hat. I had a really good laugh when I saw her with this on!


I don't think this hat would've fit the average child's head, and since I don't know any coneheads, I took it partially apart and finished it a bit shorter. This time it worked out a bit better.


Here is Annika wearing her new beanie...it's almost the perfect size!



Yay! A project started and finished! It was fun. I'm going to make another hat, but in white this time. After this I may try crocheting a teddy bear or maybe a little blanket with a kitty toy in a pocket.
